If .. big if, they did start season 3 this year, id probably cry eith excitement. Especially with mushoku starting soon. 😂.
Mushoku is my personal favorite over all series, and re zero is my second favorite novel series behind mushoku (not my second favorite overall anime. I love it. But the major cuts takes some away from me)

I don't care about delays, take it longer even 1,2 years but use this time and make a masterpiece even better than previous seasons.
They probably finish an episode a few weeks before it airs and if that's the case then the delay makes sense, it's probably because of golden week. I was surprised when anime episodes aired normally during golden week.
Maybe it has something to do with earthquakes Japan has been facing this week. But I'm not really sure, as most of them so far were minor.

AHH! Season 3 of Re:Zero - I can't wait!!! I really want to start Arc 7, but before that, I want to reread Arc 5 and Arc 6, but at the same time Season 3 is coming--- AHH! I really can't wait!! But I have to because I want for the studio that's working on season 3 to take its time and not rush it. AHH!
There was also a pretty big earthquake today in Japan so the delay was time pretty good for the studios to recover.
Is that Re:Zero game that was announced still coming?

Re zero needs a jrpg, original story.
Oshi No Ko has 11 episodes confirmed. It makes sense that they would have one week break even coming in later in the season's start. I don't think there is that much. Should there be? Yes, but it doesn't seem as bad as it looks.
