Conforto: As suspensões da YZF-R15 ABS são nitidamente mais robustas quando comparadas às que equipam outras motocicletas até 160cc. Na traseira é do tipo monocross em alumínio, garantindo baixo peso e minimizando torções, e a fixação do amortecedor é através de links, conferindo maior conforto e suavidade na absorção de impactos. O sistema de freios ABS nas duas rodas evita o travamento das rodas em situações de baixa aderência do piso. Já potência da frenagem é garantida pelos discos de 282 mm na dianteira e 220 mm na traseira. Com 10 raios, as rodas em liga leve têm diâmetro de 17 polegadas, são calçadas por pneus largos, sendo o dianteiro de 100/80-17 e o traseiro de 140/70-17. Isso garante o comportamento mais estável da motocicleta, maior aderência nas curvas e melhor capacidade de absorção de impactos para uma pilotagem mais prazerosa. Parte frontal com duto de entrada em forma de M, inspirada na Yamaha YZF-M1 da MotoGP. The Yamaha YZF-R15 has been a perennial seller for Yamaha despite its price. Which is the first reason to consider something else. For a lot less money, for example, you could get a TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, an excellent motorcycle, which has more engine performance at the very least. Second, if budget is not a constraint, the KTM RC200, the latest one, makes for a faster machine overall with better suspension and the RC's a bit easier to ride about town as well. Third? Don't get the R15 is you're not into sportsbikes. It's a pretty serious little firecracker and the choices it makes a result, from the committed riding position to the suspension setup may not be to everyone's taste.
