Moth Masque is a collaboraton between Timothy Renner and Alicia (6) (also of Funeral), with the two having work together in the past in connection with Mourning Cloak and Stone Breath. For their debut release, all instrumentation was created on a single Joseph Rickett banjo from 1880, which was played in the clawhammer, 2-finger, and 3-finger styles, as well as bowed, beaten like a drum, strummed, and and sung through.
