Born 5 Apr 1941 in New Malden, Surrey, England.
Fiddle, viola, mandolin and guitar player and songwriter. Played with Fairport Convention from 1969 to 1984, and worked with Martin Carthy from 1966 to 1969 and again from 1989, he also has had numerous solo and other releases.
