Technoir is the main project of the former Plastic Noise Experience live keyboardist, Steffan Gehring. In 2000, he was joined by Julia, formerly of Inside (3). They released two CDs independently before releasing "Groundlevel" in 2001. In 2002, they collaborated with Blacklight (4) on a cover of Killing Joke's 'Love Like Blood' and in 2006, they released their second full-length "Deliberately Fragile" on Alfa-Matrix. As of 2009, Julia has left Technoir and is working with Chandeen.
