Insane Behavior is Caspar Terkelsen, born may 26 1981 in Hjoerring Denmark.
The creative vision of this project, is to tab in to the listeners subconscious. To guide the individual on a sonic journey, As a canvas our mind can be colored, manipulated and bend into any shape we so desire, with trancients and modulated synthesis the insane behavior project constantly strives, to paint a unique sonic picture for the listener. Attention to detail, lust for experimentation, all packaged into a warm production, providing a psychedelic univers for the listener to indulge into.
The early years of my life was heavy influenced and dictated by my love for music and sound. At the age of 7 i discovered, how simple sequences could be formed by recording short random sounds from my brother´s vinyl collection, and rearranging them on a 2 track tape recorder. It was about the same time i got my first drumkit. In my teenage years i played as a drummer on various occasions, most noticable as a drummer/writer in a punk rock bank. In 1998 i was introduced to psy trance, particularly the psychedelic scene in Aarhus DK. Through my fascination for the culture, the people and needless to say the psychedelic music, my own musical adventure began to evolve into some else, and in 2000 the Insane Behavior project was born. The following years i studied the art of making electronic music from friends, by trial and error, reading and i even attended a music school in Aarhus DK. In 2002 i reached my first milestone with the release of a Insane Behavior track on the french label Apoxina Records, the track “Datura Inoxia” was very well received by audiences and produced alot of gigs and some incredible rewarding experiences. Few years after the Apoxina release i signed with Parvati Records releasing a few Insane Behavior tracks and various collaboration projects like OhmGnome and Meteloids. Today the sonic adventure continues as 2013 introduces a new era for this project.
